Inauguration Day in Sacramento

As I've been broadening my range of photography, and recently becoming fascinated with street photography, I joined my friend Felipe and his son to the California state Capitol's steps to witness first-hand the protests and anti-trump rallying going on after his inauguration. There's something about catching people in their passionate states of mind that really show well in photos. You can really feel the overall attitude by just standing in the crowds and being silent. I really enjoy this type of neutral spectator role as a photographer. Watching, observing, and recording. There were a few Trump supporters who came to also voice their freedom of speech. It was good to see that no violence had been provoked while I was there. I hope that the rest of the day proceeds just as peaceful as when I was there.
